Window Tinting has a few benefits besides darkening your windows. Harmful UV rays can travel through the glass and age your interior. All our Xpel Prime window tints help block UV rays, but our XR and XR+ Series ceramic tints also block against heat to help keep your car cool in the summer.

The percentage represents the amount of light that travels through the window tint. This means that a 5% window tint allows 5% of all the light to travel through, which is not much. The average window tint (which is 35%) allows 35% of all the light to come through.
We can tint any window on your car. This includes the front windshield and panoramic sunroof. Some windows are harder than others, but anything is possible. The Porsche 992 and 991 Targa is a prime example of a difficult vehicle to tint. The rear glass has such a large curvature that a lot of heat is needed to form the film to the glass. Tesla sunroofs are also challenging due to their size. If you have any questions about your car, feel free to reach out and we will be happy to assist you.
The warranty covers any cracking, peeling, bubbling, delamination, fading, or any change in colour. Basically, the way your tint looks when you pick it up from us, is the way it will always look.
The window material is pretty stiff and does not like to bend. So we first place the film on the outside of the glass and form it to the curves of the glass panels using a heat gun. Then we trim the film to the size of the windows. Next, the film is removed from the outside of the glass and placed on the inside. A watery solution is used to suspend the film from the glass until we have it in position. We then squeegee the film to remove any water from behind it and then the film will begin to dry and stick to the window.
